Today, with the help of a friend, I caught myself in a pattern that I realized has beeen holding me back....I´m sure you´ll recognize it.
¨I will be (happy, able to more forward, okay, etc..fill in the blank) when _____________ happens.¨
Oh that one´s a killer, a dream killer that is, because it makes a part of us truly think that when our circumstances change, we are going to have our desired end result.
What we must do instead. is create a state of mind, regardless of our circumstances, that draws our energy toward the sensations, feelings, and states we would like to experience. Whether that be happiness, braverly, feeling love...once again, fill in the blank. What state of mind do you desire that you feel keeps evading you?
