Have you ever finished the day and just felt burnt?
Like all you wanted to think about was heading to the sofa to relax.
In fact I remember having a job where, while commuting to and from, I would think about the things that could happen that would allow me to stay home and avoid going in because I felt constantly burnt from the day.
This is sad to think, but at one point, I even thought getting into a car accident would be better than going into the office. Eeeek.
I share this because to some point or another we all experience people, places, and events that drain our energy.
So what do we do to transform that feeling of burnt out into burning desire?
Sometimes I wish that I knew earlier in my life the power of using dance as a form of meditation, an alchemy, a transformative ritual to...in a sense, bring me back to feeling alive.
Movement, music and visualization is a powerful and alchemical combination to bring back a sense of aliveness.
And you can do this in 5 minutes. Well...of course more if time allows and you are enjoying yourself.
