I don't know about you but I've had a slow start to 2020. I feel like a part of me is asking me to slow down, to take better care of myself. To not act out of urgency, but out of inspiration.
One part of that process of no longer acting out of urgency is starting to become aware of when I'm acting or not acting out of fear vs. when I'm acting out of love and desire.
In this process, I've reconnected with a simple practice that shifts me out of paralysis and helps get me back into motion. It allows me gentle move out of fear and trust myself again that I am on my path and there is no rush.
Check out the video as I share one of my favorite weekly practices.
Today we’ll be discussing how we can experience relief when we feel like criticism is all around, both internally and with others. I share two of my favorite shifts recently that have made a tremendous difference for me and why connecting with my inner kid mattered to make the shift.

In today's video I share one of my favorite practices when it comes to developing a stronger sense of love and appreciation for our bodies. It was something I started to do about five year ago, after living mostly in disgust and avoidance of my body. It truly was a game changer for me and something I periodically come back to if I'm feeling disconnected from myself or critical of my body in any way.

The other day I learned this magical little tool that can work wonders in our relationships with our partners (and really with anyone, including ourselves!)
When we get into a downward spiral with our partners and we're feeling triggered: How do we stop the negative cycle? How do we turn the ship around? Well one thing we can do is shift our complaints into desires, this video shows you a simple and powerful way to do that.
Today's challenge is to try this practice for yourself, and come on over to the YouTube chat and let me know what you noticed from trying this practice at, https://youtu.be/_76acrxI7qU
Today we’ll be discussing a key to remember when we are pursuing our desires while in romantic partnership. I share a story where I was confronted with the need to give myself permission and get in touch with an internal sense of validation. As I reflected on this, I found an even deeper sense of strength and trust in myself remembering a scene from Harry Potter that keeps me rooted in the knowing that whether I am in partnership or not - I must choose myself and be willing to have permission for my desires.
